Why Dhoni got married in a hurry?
Well Finally, we have got confirmation and YES MS DHONI got married to Sakshi Singh Rawat at Dehradoon’s Vishranti resort.
John Abhraham, Harbhajan Singh, Suresh Raina, Ashish Nehra and Rp Singh reached Dehradoon to attend thier Captain’s Marriage.
Well indeed that’s the biggest surprise of the year so far and we Congratulate MS Dhoni and Sakshi Singh Rawat and wish them a wonderful Married life ahead.
The speed with Indian cricket skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni got married — barely 24 hours after getting engaged to Sakshi Singh Rawat — may have been at least partially due to astrological reasons, a source who attended the wedding said.
The hush-hush affair was initially planned for 2011 but had to be preponed due to several reasons. According to his astrologer, Dhoni, who turns 29 on July 7, has entered one of the most auspicious years of his life and both the families thought this would be the best time to formalise the couple’s relationship.
Besides, the packed international schedule next year would have made it difficult for Dhoni, who’s crucial for India in all three formats, to make time for a wedding.
Apparently, Sakshi’s family was also not comfortable with the media gossip surrounding Dhoni’s link-ups with various Bollywood and south Indian actresses. Though Dhoni never commented on these link-ups, that only fuelled speculation further.
The wedding, for which only a few close family members and friends were invited, was a simple affair minus any alcohol.

According to a source, they will marry in a traditional Indian style. The news of their marriage blow up as they reportedly ordered the wedding cake from the same bakery, Sweet Lady Jane bakery in Los Angeles at which they have dated for the first time.

Before Freida starts off her filmy career, she was officially engaged to her publicist Rohan Antao but later called off as she wanted to concentrate on her career and started dating Dev Patel.

A love story has a happy ending – thanks to Internet
A Canadian Muslim girl was allowed to marry her Dubai-based Indian lover after she wrote an online appeal for help while being in her father’s “captivity” in Saudi Arabia for three years.

The transcontinental romance between Nazia Quazi, a Canadian of Indian Muslim origin, and Bjorn Singhal, born to a partially Hindu family, took many twists before culminating into a wedding last week.

The girl was held captive for three years under a Saudi Arabian law which prohibits a girl from marrying against the wish of the nearest male guardian, mainly her father or brother. The girl’s father Quazi Malik Abdul Gaffar, who worked in Saudi Arabia, used his power under the Kingdom’s rule to stop her leaving the country after she went on a visit.

The Quazi family had Canadian citizenship, and the pair met when they were both studying at Ottawa University in Canada. Singhal has a Hindu father and a Muslim mother, and although he practised Islam, Gaffar did not approve of the relationship.

But following a campaign by supporters in Canada that was taken up by the media there, and even in Saudi newspapers, he relented and allowed the marriage to take place in Dubai.

The girl’s case was taken up by Human Rights Watch and other groups in Canada after she wrote an online letter appealing for help earlier this year. The couple were eventually married in the presence of both families in Dubai.

Sania Mirza to marry Shoaib Malik
It’s the beginning of a high profile Indo-Pak lovestory as Indian tennis star Sania Mirza is all set to marry Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik in April, two months after she broke her engagement with childhood friend Sohrab Mirza.
This news has come as a big surprise for both Sania’s Indian fans as well as the entire nation of India, who very recently witnessed the break up of Sania and her Hyderabadi businessman fiancee.
Shoaib has confirmed this news in his Twitter page and he has thanked everyone for their support in their decision. He has ratified that they are getting married in coming April. He has also mentioned that he would be a proudest husband if Sania win a medal for her country. According to Shoaib, he will support Sania in her career as long as she wishes to play.
A statement by Sania’s father Imran Mirza also stated that 23-year-old Sania and the 28-year-old all-rounder will be based in Dubai, where Malik is a resident and they will continue to represent their respective countries in sport.
Incidentally, Shoaib was earlier accused of marrying another Hyderabad girl, Ayesha Siddiqui, in 2002 over phone even though the cricketer said he was merely engaged to her. Ayesha’s father had also threatened to sue Malik accusing him of ditching the girl.
Malik’s brother-in-law Imran Z Malik said the marriage proposal was taken by the cricketer’s mother to India. He said the entire family will leave for India on April 7 and formal nikaah ceremony would take place on April 10 or 11. The reception is expected to be held in Lahore on April 16 or 17.
Pakistani media reports said Sania and Malik fell in love six-and-half months back and it could be the reason for the breaking up of Sania’s engagement with Sohrab. Sania, who had got engaged to 24-year-old Sohrab in July last year, broke off citing incompatibility.

God please save us from Rahul Mahajan’s swayamvar!
As if it was not enough to watch Rakhi Sawant, play the coy and blushing to-be-bride for Swayamvar Season 1, now audiences will have to put up with Rahul Mahajan as the not so dashing groom to 15 aspiring girls for the Second season of Swayamvar. Hope Rahul will marry the chosen one unlikely Rakhi end up doing engagement.
Rahul’s past shenanigans may help this show strike gold. However the very fact that a person with a past as notorious as Rahul Mahajan is being elevated to the status of a celebrity raises certain question marks about our social norms.
Rahul Mahajan first burst into public view and public space as the grieving son of BJP politician, the late Pramod Mahajan. Exactly a month after his father’s death, he had to be hospitalised after an alleged cocaine overdose. This was followed by a rushed marriage and divorce to Shweta Singh cited physical abuse and mental torture as reasons.
His first appearance on television was for the controversial reality T.V. show Big Boss-2 where he came across as an incorrigible flirt, manipulative and extremely shrewd. He flirted happily shamelessly with Payel Rohatgi and Monica Bedi. He also served as the judge on Colors’s Chhote Miyan, a children’s stand-up comedy reality show. His third stint for television will be Swayamvar Season -2.
This show is being planned around him because he is purported to be a ‘celebrity’. Without that tag of celebrity hood, he is just another ordinary person with a famous surname. Rahul Mahajan is one such so called media made celebrity whose only claim to fame has been being in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. Shameless Rahul confessed that there is no harm in getting married on television as he is being paid for marriage.
Well all we hope for this time is that the viewers do not feel cheated as they did when Rakhi only got engaged and now they do get to witness the big fat wedding of a scammer. Oh God bachaooo!!!!!!!

Shahrukh gets married again!!!
Yes, you heard it right! Bollywood Baadshah, Shahrukh Khan has got married again. King Khan went down on his knees and proposed to a 20-year-old girl Tillana Desai. He slipped a ring on her finger; he was happy and she was overjoyed.
The only difference being that the said marriage was just a mock affair. The whole drama took place while promoting SRK’s upcoming film My Name is Khan at a five-star hotel in Ahmedabad. Shahrukh was taken aback when a girl in her twenties dressed up in bridal wear expressed her interest in getting married to the superstar.
SRK, who was amazed by this surprise proposal, responded to it in his most charismatic way. Not only did SRK respond by making the girl wear a ring but also told her that this was a rehearsal for their marriage.
She told him that she has been in love with a guy since she was seven but couldn’t marry him, and her man happened to be Shahrukh. She also told him that she only uses the products certified by him.Impressed by her love story, Shahrukh thankful to her request to marry her.
The lucky girl said that she would never remove the ring. She is happy that Shahrukh accepted her love and respect for him. She added that she even invited him to dinner at her house but he was too busy to make it. Well, Shahrukh knows what a girl wants!
