Pancharangi Movie 2010 Nothing in our lives is simply Black and White. Everything is a shade of something, everything is a version of something. Pancharangi in a nut shell is a movie that explores life within these perspectives. The protagonist of the movie is someone who laughs at the way the society has defined life. He finds himself outside of all the trivial happenings of life, he looks at life as though he is an observer, and makes fun of it, not realizing that he has never lived it to understand it. Circumstances push him into being part of a mundane family event such as meeting a probable alliance for his elder brother. In the course of the events of meeting the girl's family, to behave artificially, to show off etc; he meets a girl. Coincidentally they keep bumping to each other, the girl finds him interesting and as usual the boy doesn't have any opinion. As the events progress, both have an exchange of idea and their concepts of life, all this making up interesting scenes and creating situations that make them fall in love. But the boy is so stuck in his believes that he fails to acknowledge his feeling, however the girl being somebody who lives life the way it is and very innocently, she expresses her feelings. The movie then opens up the different shades of all the characters and brings them to a point where they have to confront each other and themselves. The girl makes the boy realize that he has never lived life and she could help him live one. The boy succumbs to her offer. The movie is not simply a love story, it explores the false faces that all the members of a family have and how they react when they are put in the open and their real personalities are reveled. This makes the movie connect to people of all ages. All of the above philosophy is narrated with lot of fun and humor, so much that the viewer will go back home celebrating his life, laughing at himself and loudly yelling out his new found definition of life - Life ishtene.
