Vocalist, Guitarist, Keys for "Buffer Zone" - A Corporate Rock Band in Bangalore A dreamer... who believed in his dream more than anything else in this world.. A kid, whose love for music was well known right from KG.. (Ya i did my first stage show in school when I was 5)... Loved Music department more than all PCM and IT combined... When friends were playing in grounds, busy seeking a girl's contact no. and address, I was with instruments.. It was a hobby, a serious hobby.. Would thank my father for introducing me to a small keyboard a Casio-1991 model.. that formed the basic foundation of this musical journey.. All i learned in tender years was Sargam.. and 2-3 songs that Papa taught me.. "Dil todne wale jaadugar", "Neele gagan ke tale", "Hari Bol"... and so it all started.. Up's and downs... support and anguish... at times haven't touched any instrument for months all together.. Coz had to study and per manycarrying my guitar with me was like a message that I am not very serious about my career.... Bought my first guitar in July 2004, and since then have fallen in love with it.. though was inspired by Mr. Ravi Mishra- a child hood friend.. Then meet Mr. Meghraj Sharma - a roommate in 2nd yr, another guitarist from Sikkim.. They impacted me a lot.. thought, attitude.. introduced to diverse genres- from Gulam Ali to Avril... But since 2006, Life has been an endless struggle to survive, to prove the worth, to make a mark.. but the rich experience learned in the course of struggles of life have given a different paradigm to look ahead.. The temptation took flight again after I got placed in an MNC IT firm, based out of Bangalore.. Time to show others was over.. struggle to settle down for a bread nd butter was over.. Now was the time to do what i wanted to.. Dive deep into the ocean of music.. Have my own home studio.. Have my own band... Thanks to my sister nd Jiju for helping me out with some real cool gadgets from US and my Band mates for making a dream come true.. The turning point in life was "Voice of ITC" award, which gave a national level recognition where 15 employees were selected out of the entire talent pool of ITC Ltd & ITC Infotech Ltd. which was followed by a rendition of an original song dedicated to ITC Ltd. during the finals of "Claim 2 Fame" - another pan india talent hunt. It was the first live performance as a song writer and composer and the musician inside me has refused to take a back seat since then... Presently student of one of the India's most talented guitarist "Tony Das", having the privilege to work with personalities like Gerard Machado, Ashley Mendonca, Amartya Rahut to name a few... and honored to jam along with my band mates.. all full time IT employees yet dedicated musicians.. ---- Professionally I hold a PGDM in Finance & Marketing, am a Microsoft Certified System Engineer, a computer Applications Graduate and presently pursuing "Certified Associate in Project Management" certification while working with ITC Infotech as a "Project Assistant".
