Santosh Lad - Chairman
Santosh Lad is the promoter of desitara.com and connectfilms.com. Both the sites are online entertainment venture of Connectfilms Media under S Lad Group (www.sladgroup.com).
Originally from the iron ore industry, Santosh Lad is a partner in V. S. Lad & Sons which is one of the largest suppliers of iron ore in India. While his family has been in this business for five decades, Santosh Lad has diversified the mining business into manufacture of Pig-iron and various other activities.
Santosh Lad has also successfully ventured into IT, Real Estate, the Entertainment industry and Aviation. His businesses include several IT firms, an Air Cargo company, Real Estate, Development firms, Movie and TV production companies, Online Entertainment portals and Clubs.
Well known for his philanthropy, Santosh Lad has conducted many free Eye Camps and Blood Donation Camps. He helps poor children with free education.
Mansoor Ahamed (Founder) - Executive Chairman and Chief Creative Director
Mansoor Ahamed heads and directs the overall strategic planning and creative strategy for both desitara.com and connectfilms.com. With interactive media and film-making experience he brings strong creative direction, advanced technical and rich-media expertise to the role. He has a background in both the private (Gfk Nop, MC Saatchi, ITV City1, Play UK) and public sectors (Tribunals Group, Department for Constitutional Affairs) in the United Kingdom and brings strong customer awareness to the company.
Mansoor Ahamed has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical from Bangalore University in India and holds an MBA from The University of East London in England.
Greig Wibberley (Co-Founder) - IT Analyst
Greig Wibberley is an IT analyst with experience in developing and delivering advanced software solutions for a number of public sector agencies in the UK. He is responsible for strategic website planning and implementation.
Greig Wibberley holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree in Information Systems from the University of Cape Town in South Africa.
Sanjay Narendra - Finance Director
Sanjay Narendra directs the ground operations in India. An entrepreneur with strong business acumen. He heads the investment front for the company. Indian based Sanjay Narendra has vast experience in various businesses such as Defence, Railways, Fashion Industry and Wealth Management.
Sanjay Narendra has a Bachelor of Science degree from Bangalore University in India.
Rasik Kotecha - Finance Advisor
Rasik Kotecha oversees the finance of both Desitara and Connectfilms. As a former finance head at Philips International, he brings strong financial and business acumen to the role. In addition to his financial experience, Indian born UK based Rasik is also a successful entrepreneur with interest in many different Areas.
Rasik Kotecha holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the London School of Economics in England and is ACMA qualified.
