Year after year, Unmaad, the annual cultural fest of IIMB has been successful in bringing quality entertainment, classy performances and stiff competitions to the threshold of Indian student community. Youth being the essence of Unmaad, students across the nation from numerous colleges pour in, to cherish the most beautiful phase in their lives- the joshful jawani.Here, one would go through a plethora of emotions - joy, anxiety, excitement, pride and amusement, and enjoy every bit of it. This year, however, even when the young participants hue their lives with these resplendent shades of celebration, they feel responsible for their nation. The terror attacks took the nation by a storm of anguish, pain and rebel. Enough is enough - was what every Indian thought. And this time, our condemnation was not confined to a silent reproach but was vented out through a public outcry. Unmaad salutes the soul of this awakening - "The Spirit of India", a tribute to those who lost their lives and perhaps more, during those 60 hours of horror. The fun feast at Unmaad is irresistible and we are sure every young soul in India would love to indulge themselves into this carnival. The rich and varied heritage of Indian art that is reflected in its various forms of music and dance will be matched with the contemporary art forms of Rock music and western dance. Fairs, workshops, competitions and last but not the least, the pronites are going to keep the audience hooked for a good long time. Online events, Treasure hunt, Bollywood quiz and Voice over, have already turned a lot many people into cyber addicts. But that's just the beginning of a magnificent youth extravaganza.
