How To Vote

Only the registered users of Desitara.com are eligible to vote.
Users can vote for their favourite contestants once in every 24 hours.
Users have to rate the contestants with "Cool", and "Not Cool" section.
"Cool" 3 points and "Not Cool" has -1 point.

Rules & Regulations

The Contest is open to Desitara users only as they would be required to upload their images on Desitara.com
No entry fee required.
There will be one Winner for the contest. The prizes will be notified at the website of desitara.
To participate, contestants need to upload a minimum of two photos on Desitara.com. size limit of 5 MB.
Any direct or indirect cost / expenses incurred by the registered participant towards taking the photograph and participating in the Photo contest shall be borne solely by the participant (including the cost of travelling / visiting the venue) and Desitara shall not be responsible for the same.
Both Color and / or black-and-white photographs are accepted in the Photo contest.
Objects should not be added or removed in order to enhance the shot.
No composite images shall be accepted in the Photo contest.
Photographs may be edited by the registered participants to the extent that only minor image adjustments such as altering exposure and improving sharpness and color are done. Desitara would not provide any facility / equipment to support the same.
Photos containing images of children, porn or related to religion is not allowed. Participants who ignore this rule will be disqualified immediately.
A true representation of what was captured at the time of the picture being taken must be maintained. Photographs which consist in any way of more than one separate image, or which has been manipulated, are not eligible.
No responsibility is accepted for ineligible entries or entries made fraudulently.
Photographs submitted by registered Participants must be entirely their own work. All images must be original and must be taken / clicked by the participants submitting the photograph.
The personal and camera information of the participants provided at the time of registration shall be used by desitara for its direct / indirect marketing activities. Participation in this Photo contest is conditional on providing the above-mentioned information by the participant and the participant agreeing to the above-mentioned use of the information by desitara.
The Participants unconditionally and irrevocably grants / assigns to desitara a joint copyright of the photograph submitted for the Photo contest and which shall be used by desitara for its future marketing activities. In case the photograph is of an individual, then such photograph will be accepted for the photo contest only when the participants will provide a Model release / consent letter from such an individual for the use of his/her photograph by Desitara for Desitara's future marketing activities as well as the document for transfer of the copyright in such photograph in favor of Desitara. In case of any third party claim against Desitara including on account of any third party IPR violation, the Participant will indemnify desitara for the same.
The participant hereby confirms that the Photographs submitted by him shall neither be in violation of any third party Intellectual Property Rights / any law nor shall be defamatory / obscene / vulgar or detrimental to National interest or prejudicial to the interest of desitara or society in general.
Desitara reserves the absolute right to reject any photograph which is obscene / vulgar or defamatory or detrimental to National interest or prejudicial to the interest of desitara or society in general or violates any third party IP Rights / any law.
Desitara reserves the right, at any time, to disqualify any Participant who registers his photograph / submits the photograph that is not in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the photo contest or who tampers with the entry process.
The contest shall be null and void, if not permitted by the law.
Failure by desitara to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Desitara (including its officers, directors, employees and agents) excludes all liability for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way of this photo contest.
This is a promotional photo contest and all decisions on the eligibility / registration of any participant or acceptance of his / her photo for the photo contest or any other matter relating to this photo contest including the decision on selection of winners, shall be solely of Desitara and the decision of Desitara shall be final and binding on the participants.
Any dispute arising out of this photo contest shall be subject to Indian Laws and the courts of Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction over the matters arising out of this photo contest.
