Winning Tips

Ensure you record yourself in a quiet place - rule out distracting sounds and images from cropping up.
Pick the best angle to place your camera at. Choose a safe position from where everything can be recorded clearly.
Do take care to rehearse your performance before you record it!
Don't use scripts in the video.
Relax, do as many re-recordings as you need to and send the best one in.
Look at overall effect - use appropriate costumes and settings. Remember, you e selling yourself, so you might as well do it properly.
Don't forget to upload the video in the right format.
Last but not the least, PROMOTE your video. Ask your friends and family to vote for you in large numbers. At the end the winners are the ones who get the maximum votes.

How To Vote

Only the registered users of Desitara.com are eligible to vote.
Users can vote for their favourite contestants once in every 24 hours.
Users have to rate the contestants with "Cool", and "Not Cool" section.
"Cool" holds 3 points, "Not Cool" has -1 point.

The contest is open to all the registered users of Desitara.com. There will be one winner.
No entry fee required.
To participate, contestant's need to upload minimum one video on Desitara.com.
Desitara.com reserves the right not to select entries it receives.
By entering you allow us to post your entry, name and photograph on the Desitara.com.
Participants must include your name, city and state.
Desitara.com reserves the right to remove or disqualify any entry at any time at its discretion.
By entering in the contest as user or contestant you grant permission to the organizing team to post your photographs and names in all media related to the event.
Desitara.com assumes no responsibility for possible fraud committed by any contestant or users and cannot be held liable for actions on the part of the users. The organizer reserves the right to remove or disqualify any entry at any time at its discretion.
By entering in this contest, all contestants must affirm to have read and agree to abide by the terms and conditions, the official contest rules, and the decisions of the judges.
